CT PURCHASE AND SOURCING

Used and refurbished CT scanners

A CT scanner for your facility, with a proposal that sets out the equipment, condition and services. From commercial-network sourcing to agreed installation.

APPROACH

Start with your examinations and project, not just a model name.

Buying a used CT scanner can support replacement, expansion of a diagnostic centre or a new service in a clinic, including veterinary facilities. Spinergy Medical supports facilities and industry professionals with equipment sales and sourcing, connecting technical selection with budget and destination.

We work with CT systems from major manufacturers including GE, Siemens, Philips and Canon. Comparing options requires the intended activity, configuration, expected examination volume and room constraints. A familiar model name does not identify the software, accessories or condition of an individual machine.

Browse published stock listings or describe the system you need. If it is not listed, we can assess a search through our commercial network. The photographs on this page illustrate technical work; they are not listings of equipment available for sale.

CONFIGURATION

There is more to selecting CT than the slice count.

Slice count is one item to compare alongside detector configuration, coverage, rotation times, applications and reconstruction tools. Discuss selection with your facility’s clinical and technical contacts: no single configuration is best for every activity.

General diagnostic work and particular applications may require different equipment options. Software and licences must be checked for the actual system offered, including the conditions applicable to transfer and installation at a new site.

  • Model, variant, year and actual configuration
  • Included applications, licences and workstations
  • Table, accessories and integration with facility systems
  • Intended examinations and workload discussed with the relevant professionals

CONDITION AND CHECKS

The X-ray tube and service history are part of the assessment.

The X-ray tube is an important component when assessing used CT equipment. Request its identification, available usage and replacement information, service history and results of the agreed checks. A counter alone cannot guarantee remaining useful life.

Used and refurbished are not interchangeable descriptions. For a refurbished CT scanner, ask which activities are planned or completed, on which components and with what supporting records. Refurbishment does not automatically mean a new tube, every software option upgraded or every component restored.

  • Known tube condition and available documentation
  • Completed work and activities still outstanding
  • Agreed checks and acceptance criteria
  • Warranty, exclusions and support stated in the offer

PRICE AND INSTALLATION

What does a used CT scanner cost? Consider the whole project.

Price depends on model, configuration, year, condition, tube, software and included work. Two offers with the same commercial model name may contain very different scopes. We therefore base comparisons on the specific machine, rather than treating a generic price list as applicable to every case.

Budget for deinstallation at origin, packing, transport, access and moving, installation, room preparation and utilities. Radiation shielding, power and cooling should be assessed with the site professionals against the requirements of the selected configuration.

Our proposal distinguishes the equipment supply from agreed supporting activities. Defining these before delivery helps compare costs, responsibilities and timing without confusing the machine price with the total project cost.

SOURCING ON REQUEST

Not listed? We can look for it.

The public inventory does not cover every opportunity in the commercial network. We can start with an exact model or look for a configuration aligned with your requirements, sharing the available information and the checks needed before preparing a proposal.

A search is not a promise of immediate availability. Expected arrivals are distinguished from available equipment and remain subject to confirmation. We work across Italy and neighbouring countries, with frequent activities in Africa and Asia; overseas projects also require an agreed logistics and documentation pathway.

FROM ENQUIRY TO PROPOSAL

Three steps to plan the purchase.

  1. 01

    Describe your requirements

Model or intended activity, location, indicative budget and timeframe. Tell us if you are replacing an existing CT scanner.

  2. 02

    Compare the options

We assess availability, configuration, condition, documentation and required services together.

  3. 03

    Define the supply

The proposal confirms what is included, supporting activities, conditions and the agreed schedule.

USEFUL QUESTIONS

Before getting started

Can you supply used CT scanners if the catalogue is empty?

We can assess sourcing through our commercial network. An empty public catalogue does not mean we cannot help, but it is not confirmation of availability: each opportunity must be checked.

Does a refurbished CT scanner always have a new tube?

No. Refurbished does not identify the completed work by itself. Tube condition, any replacement, checks and coverage must be stated for the actual machine offered.

Are transport, installation and warranty included?

The proposal defines the scope. Do not assume every offer includes transport, room works, installation or the same coverage: services, duration and exclusions need separate confirmation.

Can I enquire about CT for a veterinary clinic?

Yes. Describe the intended activity, patient characteristics, space and facility requirements. Equipment selection and site requirements should be reviewed with the clinical and technical professionals involved.

What information do you need for a quotation?

A model or requirements, destination, timeframe, indicative budget and required services are useful. Mention any existing room. Do not send patient information or credentials.

Which CT scanner are you looking for?

Share the model or requirements, destination and timeframe so we can plan sourcing and comparisons around your project.
