Spare parts and support

How to identify a spare part for an imaging system

A generic name is rarely enough: sourcing a spare part requires public identifiers, revision, originating system and verifiable technical information.

Electronic component checked by a Spinergy Medical technician

Sourcing a spare part for an imaging system starts with correct identification. Descriptions such as “CT board” or “MRI coil” may refer to different components, revisions or configurations that are not interchangeable.

Availability and compatibility must therefore not be inferred from the system name alone.

Collect readable identifiers

Part number, designation, revision and any public codes shown on the component are the most useful data. Transcribe them carefully and, where possible, prepare clear photographs of the label and whole component.

Serial numbers or internal information should be shared only when required and through the agreed channel.

State the system and component location

Manufacturer, model, configuration and the component’s location within the system help place the search in context. A similar code does not automatically confirm compatibility with every version in a product family.

Describe condition and requirement

Explain whether you need a replacement, exchange, assessment or repair and provide indicative timing. Where a component is available, its condition — new, refurbished, used or exchange — must be described separately.

Verify compatibility and availability

The public catalogue shows only approved parts. Where an item is not in stock, Spinergy Medical can start a search through its commercial network. In both cases, presence and compatibility are reconfirmed before a proposal.

A product page or search result does not confirm compatibility with the specific system.

Enquiry checklist

  • part number and revision;
  • readable photographs of the component and label;
  • system manufacturer and model;
  • configuration or component location;
  • type of requirement;
  • required quantity;
  • destination and indicative timing.

Browse the spare-parts catalogue or use the spare-parts request to submit the available identifiers.
